A: In a network environment, after connecting this USB to Serial Converter, the driver will be automatically downloaded, and you only need to install it. If there is no network, you need to download the driver from the FTDI official website.

 

Q: Can the serial port number be modified?
A: It can be modified from "Device Manager-com port-properties-com port number".

 

Q: Does it have RS232 function?
A: This USB to RS422 / RS485 adapter converts RS-485/422 signals, not 232 signals. If you need RS232, please consult us and choose other USB to RS232 models.
