TTL refers to the level of the transistor logic circuit. Only the signal level is different between TTL and RS232, and there is no other difference. USB is also TTL level, but the 51 MCU does not have an integrated USB controller, so it does not support direct USB download, and because the USB protocol is very complex, the 51 MCU software is generally not used to simulate USB.

What is the use of USB to TTL module

The hierarchical logic of the communication interface of the single-chip microcomputer is different from that of the communication interface of the PC. The communication interface of the PC has a USB interface, and the corresponding level logic follows the USB principle; there is a DB9 interface (nine-pin interface), and the corresponding level logic follows the RS -232 principle; the serial communication of the single-chip microcomputer passes through the four pins of RXD, TXD, VCC and GND of the single-chip microcomputer, and the corresponding level logic follows the TTL principle.

Universal asynchronous receive/transmit. UART is a chip whose parallel input becomes serial output, usually integrated on the motherboard. UART includes TTL level serial port and RS232 level serial port. TTL level is 3.3V, while RS232 is negative logic level, which defines +5~+12V as low level, and -12~-5V as high level, MDS2710, MDS SD4, EL805, etc. are RS232 interfaces, EL806 has TTL interface.
