How is CAN bus wired?

The CAN bus is a two-wire serial communication bus. The two wires are called CAN High and CAN Low. These two wires are twisted together to provide protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and to minimize signal distortion.

The CAN bus wiring is standardized and follows a specific color code for the wires. The CAN High wire is usually colored orange/white, and the CAN Low wire is usually colored white/orange. These colors are used to help identify the wires and ensure that the wiring is done correctly.
