Premier Cable PCM-1015 is a newly developed M16 12 Pin High Flex Sensor Actuator Cable engineered for industrial applications where conventional cables may experience conductor fatigue, jacket stress or signal instability under repetitive motion.
The assembly uses M16 12 pin male connectors on both ends, providing twelve contacts within a compact circular interface for multi channel sensor, control and equipment interconnections. Its 24AWG high flex cable incorporates shielding and braided construction, combining dynamic flexibility with improved signal protection in electrically noisy industrial environments.
Stable Connection
The M16 circular interface provides defined mating for multicore industrial connections. For PCM-1015, connection stability depends not only on the connector but also on pin assignment, locking condition, termination quality, strain relief and shielding continuity. OEM validation should therefore include both mechanical mating and electrical continuity.
Installation Requirements
Continuous-motion installations should define the minimum dynamic bend radius, direction of movement, travel distance, speed, acceleration, drag chain space and fixation points. Sharp bending immediately behind the connector and excessive clamping of the moving cable section should be avoided.
For drag chain applications, routing should also prevent excessive tension, compression, torsion and continuous abrasion against adjacent cables.
