Premier Cable PCM-ZC-0216 is a newly developed H-MTD to MATEnet Automotive Ethernet Cable engineered to create a direct physical interconnection between Rosenberger H-MTD and TE Connectivity MATEnet high-speed automotive data interfaces.
One end uses the Rosenberger E6S10A-1CAZ5-Z H-MTD Z Code male plug, while the opposite end incorporates a female-side MATEnet connection based on TE Connectivity 2302510-9 Z Code. The assembly uses GG 2Speed 251 Automotive Ethernet cable and has a standard length of 1 meter.

Product Features
H-MTD to MATEnet Cross-Platform Interface
PCM-ZC-0216 integrates a Rosenberger H-MTD Z-coded male connector and a TE MATEnet Z-coded female connector into a single cable assembly, enabling cross-platform physical connectivity without replacing the equipment's original connector platform.
Defined Original Connector Part Numbers
The H-MTD side is specified as E6S10A-1CAZ5-Z, while the MATEnet side is based on TE 2302510-9, providing clearer traceability for BOM management, interface identification and mechanical compatibility verification than generic H-MTD/MATEnet descriptions.
GG 2Speed 251 High-Speed Differential Cable
The assembly uses GG 2Speed 251 high-speed automotive differential cable. Its twisted-pair construction is designed for high-speed automotive data communication and, with proper connector termination, shielding and routing, provides a stable differential signal transmission path.
1-Meter Preassembled Cable Harness
The standard 1-meter preassembled configuration is suitable for bench testing, prototype vehicles, ECU test systems and short equipment-to-equipment connections, reducing on-site termination and manual high-speed jumper assembly while improving test deployment efficiency.
Core Application Scenarios

Automotive Ethernet ECU Testing
Suitable for connecting H-MTD-equipped ECUs with MATEnet test harnesses, switches, gateways or development platforms for communication validation, network debugging and functional testing.

ADAS & Domain Controller
Suitable for laboratory integration of ADAS controllers, domain controllers and high-speed vehicle modules from different suppliers when their connector platforms differ.

Automotive Camera Systems
Applicable to physical high-speed data links between cameras, surround-view systems, image-processing units and test equipment, provided the protocol and data rate match the camera and ECU PHY requirements.

Gateway & Ethernet Switch
Can bridge gateways, Automotive Ethernet switches, central computing units and test platforms, especially when validating network modules built around different connector ecosystems.
Core Performance Advantages
Simplified Cross-Platform Connection and Testing
PCM-ZC-0216 integrates H-MTD and MATEnet directly into one cable assembly, reducing extra adapters, intermediate mating points and temporary wiring while simplifying laboratory integration across different connector platforms.
Improved Prototype and ECU Validation Efficiency
When a prototype ECU and test platform use different connector systems, a dedicated adapter cable can establish the link without modifying PCB interfaces or rebuilding the vehicle harness, improving prototype validation and test deployment efficiency.
Reduced Manual Wiring Risk in High-Speed Differential Links
Automotive Ethernet is sensitive to pair geometry, impedance, termination and shielding continuity. A factory-built differential cable assembly provides better process and termination consistency than temporary hand wiring, helping reduce link risks caused by manual assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1:What Type of Cable Is PCM-ZC-0216 ?
A1:PCM-ZC-0216 is an H-MTD-to-MATEnet high-speed automotive data cable featuring a Rosenberger H-MTD Z-coded male connector and a TE MATEnet Z-coded female connector for physical adaptation between different Automotive Ethernet connector platforms.
Q2:Can This Cable Directly Support 10Gbps ?
A2:Not based on the H-MTD interface alone. Complete-link performance also depends on the MATEnet connector, GG 2Speed 251 cable, termination quality, device PHY and communication protocol. Final data rate should be confirmed through complete system validation.
Q3:Does PCM-ZC-0216 Convert Ethernet Protocols ?
A3:No. PCM-ZC-0216 is a passive cable assembly used only for physical-interface adaptation. It does not contain a PHY, switch, media converter or any active protocol-conversion circuitry.
Q4:Can Different Cable Lengths Be Customized ?
A4:Yes. Premier Cable can customize cable length, connector orientation, labeling and interface configuration for ECU testing, prototype harnesses, ADAS systems and vehicle-network projects.
Q5:Why Is Z Code Alone Not Enough to Confirm Compatibility ?
A5:Z coding primarily defines mechanical keying and anti-mismating features; it does not determine the complete PHY, protocol or pinout. Even when both ends are Z-coded, the electrical definitions and complete interface requirements must still be verified.
