Yes, you need to use a Camera Link Cable to connect a PoCL camera. PoCL (Power over Camera Link) cameras transmit data over a Camera Link cable just like traditional Camera Link cameras. The difference is that PoCL cameras not only transmit data but also provide power over the same cable. Therefore, you need to use a PoCL-enabled Camera Link Cable to allow the camera to get both data and power.
Regular Camera Link cables can also be used for PoCL cameras, but make sure both the camera and the frame grabber are PoCL-enabled and use matching PoCL cables for best performance.
