About Servo Motors

1. The difference between servo motors and variable frequency motors is that servo motors and servo drives are closed-loop (with encoder feedback), and variable-frequency motors and inverters are open-loop (without encoder).

⒉ Servo motor, as a commonly used control motor, has become a variety of control methods. Such as pulse control, analog control, bus control and so on.

3. In general routine applications, the use of pulse control is still the favorite choice of many people. The PLC adopts the high-speed pulse output port to send the running pulse signal to the pulse input port of the servo motor. After the servo motor is enabled, the PLC sends a running pulse to the servo motor, and the servo motor can run. The pulse controls the operation of the motor.

4. The positioning control is realized by the number of pulses, and the speed of receiving the pulses realizes the control of the motor running speed. The direction signal realizes the forward and reverse running control of the motor.

5. The forward operation signal controls the forward operation of the motor, the number of pulses controls the positioning position, the pulse speed controls the positioning speed, and the reverse operation signal controls the reverse operation of the motor.

6. The position of the PLC controlled servo motor is determined by the pulse amount sent to the servo motor, and the speed of the control servo motor is determined by the pulse speed sent to the servo motor.
