What is a 5G chip?
5G chips refer to chips that can connect to 5G high-speed data services.
What 5G chips are there?
1. Huawei Kirin 990 5G processor. Huawei launched the Kirin 990 5G processor in September 2019, using a 7nm+ EUV process.
2. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 865 processor in December 2019, equipped with the second-generation X55 modem and RF system.
3. Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor in July 2019, equipped with the Snapdragon X24 LTE baseband.
4. Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 765G in December 2019, equipped with the Snapdragon X52 5G chip.
5. Samsung Exynos 980 processor. Samsung launched the Exynos 980 processor in September 2019, using an 8nm FinFET process.
6. MediaTek Dimensity 1000L processor. MediaTek launched the Dimensity 1000L processor in November 2019, using TSMC's 7nm process.
