What Is a Fakra Connector Code?
Fakra connectors are widely used in automotive RF applications-from GPS and antennas to cameras and infotainment systems.
To prevent misconnection and ensure compatibility, each Fakra connector is assigned a code represented by a color and mechanical keying.
There are 14 standard codes (A–N) plus a universal Z code, each with unique color and keying profiles.

What Is Fakra Z Code?
The Fakra Z code (Water Blue) is non-keyed and universal, meaning it can connect to any other Fakra-coded jack.
It's commonly used in test setups, diagnostics, or as an all-purpose extension in custom systems.
