Premier Cable PCM-ZC-0159 is an HSD 4+2 Extension Cable developed for automotive electronics retrofits, module relocation and system expansion.
It extends the existing HSD connection path between vehicle modules and harnesses, allowing cameras, displays, infotainment head units, navigation devices and controllers to be repositioned without completely redesigning the original cable routing.
HSD 4+2 is more than a conventional six-conductor automotive connector. The architecture combines an HSD high-speed data interface with two additional contacts. Amphenol identifies its HSD 4+2 implementation as 4 Pin + 2 MQS Pin.
