One TE 1-2386629-4 4-port GEMnet Z-Code interface consolidates four independent data channels, while four TE 2302510-9 MATEnet Z-Code interfaces provide individual breakout connections. Its purpose is not to multiply an Ethernet signal, but to bridge multi-port GEMnet equipment with MATEnet-based automotive modules through defined physical channel paths.

 

Each MATEnet branch corresponds to an independent channel in the GEMnet main interface rather than using parallel wiring or signal duplication. PCM-ZC-0188 uses LEONI Dacar 686-3 Ethernet cable and is specified with 100Ω nominal impedance and a DC–10GHz frequency range. Defined channel-to-branch routing simplifies integration while providing controlled physical paths for automotive differential data signals.
