Why did a car not start on a high speed CAN bus?

Sometimes, a car may refuse to start due to various reasons, and one of such instances could be when operating on a high-speed Controller Area Network (CAN) bus.

The most common reason why a car may not start on a high-speed CAN bus is due to a fault in the communication system. This could be caused by a disconnected or damaged wire, a malfunctioning electronic control module, or a software glitch. Sometimes, a simple reboot of the system could fix the problem.

Another possible reason for a car not starting on a high-speed CAN bus could be due to a dead battery. A weak or depleted battery could struggle to provide enough power to the electrical systems, causing communication problems and other malfunctions.

It is also essential to perform regular maintenance on the car to ensure that the CAN bus system functions correctly. This includes keeping the wires and connectors clean and checking for any signs of wear or damage.
