What is a MIDI cable used for?
Keyboard controllers send MIDI data over standard MIDI cables to MIDI-controlled effects devices, desktop synths, and even lighting/atomizer controllers.
What is MIDI?
MiDi is the abbreviation of English Musical Instrument Digital Interface, which means musical instrument digital communication system. It connects a computer or sequencer (MiDi signal recorder) with electronic musical instruments, audio sources (a peripheral hardware device produced by MiDi), lighting, audio and other equipment through MiDi cables and the international unified standard GM format and performs data exchange. For example, composers can create music on the computer through MiDi, so that different professional skills such as composition, orchestration, performance, and recording can be completed by one person. Through MiDi, lighting and sound engineers can arbitrarily arrange, design and control various lights and music on the stage according to the needs of the stage.
MIDI Cable function:
1. Connect the computer to the keyboard

How to use MIDI Cable cable:
1. The connection between the electronic organ and the computer
Connect the MIDI Cable to the sound card of the computer. The midi in and midi out of the MIDI Cable are the ports connected to the synthesizer. Connect the midi in of the MIDI Cable to the midi out of the piano, and the midi out to the On the midi in, the other end is connected to the sound card (game joystick interface).
Note: Make sure to install the driver of the sound card, it can be used. The output and input devices of the composition software can be set to the MPU401 output and MPU401 input of the sound card. Some sound cards are different from the above, but they are similar. (There are specific methods for software settings below)
2. The connection between the audio source and the computer
The composition software input and output device settings, and the method of connecting the keyboard to the computer are all the same.
3. Connection of computer, audio source and MIDI keyboard
Connect the midi out of the MIDI-Cable cable to the MIDI in A of the tone generator (the function is to send data to the tone generator)
Connect the midi in of the MIDI-Cable line to the MIDI OUT of the MIDI keyboard (the function is to send the data to the computer)
