RS485 to Ethernet Product Features
Internal integration of TCP, UDP, ARP, HTTP, ICMP, DNS, SOCKET5 and other protocols, supports static IP and dynamic IP (DHCP), supports gateway and proxy server, and can transmit data through the Internet.
With RS-232/485/422 serial ports to choose from, RS-485/422 serial port data automatic control, Chinese and English setting wizards are provided for easy setting, and virtual serial port programs are provided to connect the virtual serial port with the original system. Flexible configuration of two working modes
1. Client working mode, the serial server as a client actively initiates a TCP connection to other network devices, which is suitable for the situation that the serial device actively connects to the master device.
2. The working mode of the server side, the serial port server as the server side waits for other network devices to initiate a TCP connection to it, which is suitable for the situation that the serial port device is completely controlled by other devices and passively receives/sends data.
Three communication modes can be adapted to various field situations
1. In the point-to-point communication mode, the serial port servers are used in pairs, one is for the client to initiate/establish a TCP connection for the server, and the two serial devices directly transmit data transparently through the TCP/IP network.
2. Virtual serial port communication mode, establish one or more virtual serial ports on the computer to connect with the serial port program, and manage one or more serial port servers through the network, so that the connected serial port devices can exchange data with the computer.
3. In the WINSOCKET communication mode, the network program on the computer or the communication device directly based on WINSOCKET directly connects the serial port server with TCP, so that it can perform two-way transparent data transmission with the corresponding serial port device.
