1. Determine the communication interface
- RS232: Short-distance communication, usually no more than 15 meters. Suitable for direct connection of a single device.
- RS422: Supports longer communication distances (about 1200 meters) and supports multi-device connection (full-duplex communication).
- RS485: Supports long-distance communication (about 1200 meters) and multi-device (up to 32 devices) shared bus, usually used for half-duplex communication for multi-device control.
