Products Description
PCM-0437 is an RJ45 8P8C male to 8-pin push-in spring terminal block cable. It uses a CAT5e UTP 24AWG×4P cable with a black PVC jacket and a standard length of 300±15 mm. All eight pins are wired straight through from Pin 1 to Terminal 1 through Pin 8 to Terminal 8. The push-in terminal block accepts 26–20 AWG conductors and enables fast wiring without a dedicated crimping tool. It is suitable for network testing, troubleshooting, industrial equipment commissioning, laboratory development and temporary wiring. Custom cable lengths, pinouts, terminal configurations and labels are available.
RJ45 describes a connector format rather than a specific communication protocol. Mechanical connection does not automatically ensure compatibility with Ethernet, RS-485, RS-232, CAN, PoE or proprietary equipment interfaces. Always verify pin assignment, voltage, current, grounding and protocol requirements before installation.

Products Advantages
An RJ45 male to push-in terminal block cable combines a standard 8P8C plug with individually accessible terminal positions. It reduces field preparation work and improves installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance efficiency.
Individual Breakout of All Eight Contacts
All eight RJ45 contacts are broken out to corresponding terminal positions, making it easier to connect, measure and inspect individual signal circuits.
Reduced Field Soldering
The terminal block connection reduces temporary soldering and network cable preparation, making it suitable for equipment installation, commissioning and field service.
Flexible Customization
Cable length, pinout, cable type, terminal structure, color, labels and packaging can be customized according to equipment requirements.
Suitable for Compact Spaces
The short cable and integrated structure are suitable for control cabinets, internal equipment wiring, test platforms and other space-constrained applications.
Core Application Scenarios
Industrial Automation Equipment Commissioning
The cable can be used for signal breakout and commissioning of PLCs, industrial controllers, gateways, data acquisition systems and other equipment with RJ45 interfaces. The user must first determine whether the equipment uses standard Ethernet or a proprietary pin definition.

Laboratory and R&D Testing
It is suitable for prototypes, communication modules, test platforms and educational laboratories where pinouts must be adjusted, conductors replaced or individual pins measured
Equipment Maintenance and After-Sales Service
Maintenance technicians can measure and inspect specific pins through the terminal block, reducing the need to repeatedly build temporary test cables.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1:Can PCM-0437 Be Connected to Any RJ45 Device?
A1: Compatibility cannot be determined by connector shape alone. Different devices may use Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, control signals, audio/video signals or proprietary pin assignments. Always verify the equipment manual and pin functions before connection.
Q2:Does PCM-0437 Convert Communication Protocols?
A2: No. PCM-0437 is a passive straight-through cable assembly. It does not provide protocol conversion, voltage-level conversion, signal amplification or electrical isolation.
Q3: Does the CAT5e Cable Mean the Complete Connection Meets CAT5e Performance?
A3: Not necessarily. The cable itself uses a CAT5e UTP structure, but the terminal block, external conductors, pair untwisting and installation method can affect overall link performance.
Q4: Can PCM-0437 Be Used for Gigabit Ethernet?
A4: Gigabit Ethernet normally uses all four twisted pairs. PCM-0437 provides eight-conductor straight-through wiring, but the terminal block and external wiring may affect impedance, crosstalk and return loss. Sample testing is therefore recommended, and Gigabit compatibility should not be assumed solely from the eight-pin configuration.
How to Select the Right Product
Do not select a cable based only on connector appearance. Obtain the equipment pinout and identify the data, power, ground or control function assigned to every contact.
Verify terminal count, pitch, accepted wire range, stripping length, mounting direction and field-wire type. The PCM-0437 drawing does not specify terminal pitch or rated current, so these parameters should be confirmed before ordering.
Use the PCM-0437 straight-through arrangement when the application requires corresponding positions 1 through 8. Supply a pinout table when T568A, T568B, crossover or proprietary wiring is required.
The 300 mm version is suitable for short-distance breakout wiring. Longer cabinet or external connections should account for routing, bend radius and service allowance.
Confirm signal type, operating voltage, current, communication rate, impedance, grounding and ambient temperature. PoE, power transmission and high-frequency Ethernet applications require dedicated compatibility and temperature-rise evaluation.
