M12 Cable Connector for Space-saving Fieldbus Connection
M12 mini cable glands are the most compact solution for Profinet/Ethernet and DeviceNet/CAN.
The IP67 compliant M12 Mini is designed for space-saving fieldbus connections with a cable gland length of just 44mm and an outer diameter of 16/14mm. This connector offers a large cable clamping range of 4 to 9mm. The special all-metal housing ensures effective shielding with high EMC. A robust fully shielded strain relief is also provided. M12 cable connectors have A-5, A-8, B and D codes. A small number of individual parts facilitate assembly, and the lock nut with hex combination knurling makes it easy to tighten screw connections to the specified torque. Single wires (wire size AWG 18-28) are connected via machined crimp snap-in contacts. The current rating is 4A (A-8 is 2A), and the contact resistance is less than 5mΩ. The M12 Mini can be used in a temperature range of -40 to +85°C and allows over 250 mating cycles.
