How to Connect Router via Console Cable
What cable is the router connected to? Of course, it is the console line, so how to connect it?
1. First open the Cisco Simulator, and drag the router and PC icons to the blank space of the software.
2. First select the cable, click the configuration cable, and then click the Router to select the console.
3. After clicking PC, the RS 232 option appears and select him.
4. After selecting, double-click the PC side and click the Terminal option.
5. The terminal configuration appears. Generally, it is OK to confirm here. If it is a real machine, choose to restore to default values.
6. Enter the no Enter key here to enter the user mode.
7. You can see the user mode as shown in the figure below, and now you can configure the router.
